Why I Read Your Blog

How many blogs do you currently read? What prompts you to read a blog?

Nice! I wouldn’t say I “stole it” but I did see another blogger list why they read blogs. I had my own opinions on the matter so I decided to share as well 🙂

I think I am currently reading 67 blogs. Thankfully they don’t all post daily but if I miss a day I get really behind on my blog reading. I used to read a lot but now I find myself reading blogs instead of reading.
I follow a lot of running blogs and cleveland blogs.

I’m glad I’m not the only one with so many in my reader! And about 15-20 of mine are RSS feeds for various websites so they are more sketchy as to when there is a post of new content.

I go through similar bouts… one day I am big on commenting, another day I’m big on just reading and then other days I’m big on just wanting to write on my own. Just depends on how I feel I guess!

Darn, what if we’re a runner but not an especially “good” one. (or at least not compared to those ladies lol)

    Cute post

I tried using GReader and I didn’t like it. I hate not being able to get the ‘feel’ of the blog through reader.

So I am always trying to find new ones but I open their site day after day to get their goods!

im not sure how many blogs i have in my feed reader….far too many that i dont actually read. i need to do some feed reader cleaning! i read blogs because i either identify with the writer, they have an interesting story to tell, have useful information, etc.

Not that I know of. I had some issues last week but I did a WordPress upgrade and tested it on three different computers. I haven’t had any other complaints, but thanks for letting me know.

For what it’s worth, I exclusively use firefox and have no issues.

It seemed most my regular readers have still been around so I figured everything was OK. But good to know regardless!

holly – thanks so much for including me in your list! I have 81 blogs in my reader…mostly food/healthy living/running. There are a few things that will get me hooked on a blog…1) they have similar interests, 2) i know them personally, 3) beautiful photography, 4)good recipes/food and 5) fresh content.

    happy friday!

I’ve got a LOT of blogs that I follow, but some I follow more regularly than others. I’ve been cutting back on the blogging and commenting due to my upcoming wedding in September, but I anticipate coming back with full force after that. 🙂
