This week has been busy once again.
I’m both mentally and physically exhausted from work and in return it’s been challenging getting my workouts in. Both Monday and Tuesday I skipped them. 😯
I was sort of back on track Wednesday. I set out to run 4 miles on the treadmill. Then I got distracted by Pretty Woman, which was on ABC Family. I thought that movie was rated R? Anyways, I finished at 3.8 miles and called it a night.
Thursday’s workout was a 3-mile run/walk, followed by 2 miles on the elliptical. I snapped a pic. I got my hair cut this week and somehow I keep going shorter and shorter! I got rid of the long hair when I first started running and somehow now I can’t go back.
My eats have been mostly comfort foods this week too.
If you haven’t picked up on this yet, boxed macaroni and cheese is pretty much my #1 comfort food ever. I really try to limit my intake these days now that I know there are healthier food options. I’m afraid to confess how much I’ve probably eaten already during my lifetime.
Recently I did come up with a new idea though for my lunches. I’ve been making quesadillas in the toaster oven. Sometimes I use cheese and fruit (apples or pears work well).
Thursday I used pepper jack cheese along with some salami. Paired with a salad and some fruit, it’s a nice lunch option for me. The other comfort food I enjoyed this week was homemade tomato soup with grilled cheese.

I am checking out a local wine bar Friday and working on my wardrobe overhaul. 🙂
