My weekend workouts included a 5-mile run on the treadmill Friday night. I know how to party!
It took me 64-minutes. I would consider this truly the first “long run” of my Cleveland Half-Marathon training cycle. I felt really good overall. Saturday I was able to brave the wintry mix we received here and attended a vinyasa flow yoga class (more on that later though, as I’m having some yoga problems as of late). Sunday was a rest day.
I didn’t cook much this weekend, save for trying to make some cookies on Sunday. What a disaster! I am not even going to begin to try to detail the nightmare this recipe was. Well, maybe it wasn’t all the recipe.
I’m sure the baker had something to do with it. Needless to say they wouldn’t come off the cookie sheet in one piece and all ended up in the trash. I hate to be wasteful but sometimes a recipe truly cannot be turned around.
The best part of the weekend was the husband and I went to our first home Cleveland Cavaliers game!
In general, I’m not a huge sports fan but I seriously had a great time at the game.
Our home team lost but overall I enjoyed watching the game and the entertainment in between. And the Cold Stone Creamery ice cream was delicious too. I had cookies and cream.
I can’t wait to go to another game. 🙂
