The folks at Running Chics offered me an opportunity to try out one two items from their clothing line. This is a Running Chics review to share my experience. The company was founded by two moms who are also active athletes. Running Chics offers shirts, coats, vests, accessories and more – all catered toward athletes.

Running Chics Bella Knit Thermal Long-Sleeve:
First I opted to try out the Running Chics Bella Knit Thermal Long Sleeve. The color I chose was teal, and the design was the “Half-Marathon Chics” in honor the completion of my first half in September. This thermal long-sleeve retails for $29.99.
Style: I really like the longer cuffs on the sleeves. It adds a nice fit to the shirt. I chose a size Small (my normal size) and the sizing was dead on. Knowing the personal customer service the Running Chics ladies provide, I’m sure they can answer any questions on sizing if you have them.
Comfort: The material does stretch to fit for comfort. My husband said the shirt was cute. That is always a plus too.
Function: The cotton/poly blend gives the shirt a super soft feel! I was very impressed with the comfort of the shirt. I would not wear this for running personally. I opted to wear it more for lounging – and even to church one day.

Running Chics Alo Mesh Back Tank Review:
Next I tried the Running Chics Alo Mesh Back Tank in a light blue color with the Running Chics logo on both the front and the back hem. I opted for this garment as a summertime racing and training shirt. This tank retails regular price for $31.99.
Style: As a runner, I quickly navigated toward this tank which has a cut that fits perfectly with a racerback sports bra.
Fit/Comfort: The only issue I had with this garment was the size small seemed to have run a little big. With few exceptions, I am always a size small. In talking to Andrea at Running Chics, she says this tank unfortunately does not come any smaller. The super soft fabric used to make this tank was the feature I loved most. It is also sewn in such a way that the seams will not cause chafing.
Function/Quality: The wicking-power of the shirt did the job during my runs. Even during the Gator Gallop 5K which was a humidity-fest – this tank held up. I even received a compliment on the tank at that race, and directed a woman to check online for more information. I have no question this tank will hold up long-term through washings.
Overall: I was pleased with the Running Chics line. Having tried out both a piece from their fall line, and summer, I can confidently say this is a company I will continue to recommend for athletic apparel and casual wear purchases.
