As a Poshmark shopper, my favorite parts of shopping on Poshmark are getting a deal and being able to find and purchase specific items. You can browse shop like you would window shop at a retail store, or you can use the search feature to search for a specific item by name.

Sign Up for a Free Poshmark Account

The first step to joining Poshmark is to download the app to your phone and sign up for an account. At sign up you will need to make a username for yourself (it’s like a social media handle), along with creating a password and entering some basic information about yourself such as the city you live in and your name of course.

Buying on Poshmark is Easy

Please read through all the steps, they are simliar for both the app and the website if you sign up online. First if you are using your smart phone you will need to download the Poshmark app. You can only use the coupon if you have never downloaded the app and joined Poshmark before. You must be a new Poshmark user.

After download you will see the welcome screen above, select Sign up with Email. Then you will see the screen below.

Where to Put Poshmark Coupon Code

Fill out the information line by line to create your Poshmark account. Under Invite Code enter HFHAMMERS

• If you are on desktop, click the “Have an invite code?” in blue.
• A box will appear for Invite Code. Type HFHAMMERS in the box.

This step is essential to receive your Poshmark coupon. After you are done tap the Create button. Now you have created your Poshmark account. In the bottom right corner of the app you should see your username along with a small icon of a face. Tap that area to access information about your account.

You should see an image simliar to that below. Then you will have a small green dollar sign in the top right corner, tap that.

After tapping that icon the app will take you to your My Balance section. This will show any pending money including Credits.

• To see how many credits you have in the app
• Visit your Account Tab
• Tap on the green dollar sign (this is in the right corner, at the top)
• Then tap on Credits

The Credits section is where you will find your $10 in Posh Credit toward your first purchase on the app. I have included another image below to show you what that section looks like. In the image my balance is $0.00 but after you sign up using the invite code your balance should show your $10.00.

Pricing and Fees on Poshmark

Now that you have signed up for Poshmark, created your account and have a coupon you can feel free to shop at any time for your first item. Buying on the app is easy, you find an item you are interested in via search or following brands or other users. You can then opt to purchase the item.

Before purchase you will need to add a payment type to your account, which is something you can do right away. This can be a debit or credit card, Paypal or Venmo. When you make that first purchase your coupon will be applied and then your balance will be charged to whatever payment you added to your Poshmark account. You will need to have a card on file.

I am going to share an example below of how this might look like when you purchase an item.

Then when you go to make your first purchase on the checkout screen it will show the credits are applied, then the balance for your item will be charged to your card on file.

For example, let’s say you decide to purchase a pair of blue jeans for $20. The credit is automatically applied when you check out. Your checkout screen will look something like this:

Item Price: $20.00
Shipping: $7.97
Estimated Tax: $2.24
—-
Total: $30.21
Posh Credits: $10.00
—-
Net Charged: $20.21

Instead of being charged $30.21 for the jeans, you will be charged only $20.21 with the Poshmark Coupon.
