The Happy Dog, a restaurant located in the Gordon Square District of Cleveland, Ohio, prides itself on providing live music, good food and tasty cocktails to patrons.
The menu here centers around “the dog,” a quarter pound hot dog. Veggie sausage dogs are also available for vegetarians and vegans. Dogs are only $5 each and come with your choice of dozens of toppings. Sides of french fries and tater tots also come custom-made with toppings of your choice for only $3 per serving. Some toppings do cost extra.

The Happy Dog was the location for the August Ohio Blogging Association (OBA) meet up in Cleveland. At Thursday’s meeting Alicia (OBA Cleveland Chapter President) organized a round table discussion to pose questions regarding blogging and “What can happen when you take your online relationships offline?”
As always the evening was filled with fun and enlightening conversation — mostly centered around blogging. One of the aspects of OBA I have come to appreciate is I never feel pressure at the meetings. It can be nerve-wracking meeting new people for the first time, but for the most part the events have been very casual. I also very much enjoy exploring new areas of Cleveland – both sights and eats – through OBA events.
Bloggers in attendance were:
Alicia from Poise in Parma
Amanda from Clue into Cleveland
Amie from My Retro Kitchen
Cleveland Chick from Happiness is a Hot Pierogi
Jeff from My Future Past
Jen from Why CLE?
Julie from Am I There Yet
Julie from ROJ Running
Kasey from A Kase Of…
Laura from far-flung travels
Reanna from Big Shot Dot The I
Sarah from Cooker Girl
Be sure to check out The Happy Dog on Facebook and Twitter too. The OBA is FREE to join and open to any Ohio-based bloggers. Stay in the loop on event announcements by reading Poise in Parma (written by the OBA Cleveland Chapter President Alicia) and through the OBA Facebook and Twitter pages.
