Runs this week were mediocre at best. Think 3-milers. No long run. I think I’m just a little burnt out after the whole 12K and then running, literally, into some IT Band issues after my first 8-miler.
I had some great X-Training on the bike this week and I’ve been doing good with sticking to my core workouts. Let’s all pray I get a little motivation to get back into my running next week. I think I just hit a burn-out period. Which considering I’ve been at this non-stop since January — it’s understandable.
Here’s a shot of my 5K shirt from last weekend, as well as my mediocre results (due to extreme heat and humidity). The only “GOOD” about that race, the New Haven Bulldog Blast 5K, was that I avoided being carried away by paramedics.

*This was not a chip timed race. However, I doubt that would have improved my time.
