I’m continuing to dig through piles of my childhood belongings.
Among the pile are three large boxes filled with grade school papers. (Yes, I saved nearly everything.) Sifting through them has been a real trip back in time as I continue to rediscover myself. One of the papers is an autobiography I wrote in 5th grade. In it I describe foods I despise. I have a drawing of the top three offenders: pickles, peppers and onions.
Where is this going? Well around the same time I found this, Katrina had a fun post about foods she still doesn’t like. I’m here to say that 20+ years later I still despise pickles, peppers and onions. Another shocking one is my distaste for fast food hamburgers. I literally threw fits as a child over having to eat them. Almost always I would order a fish sandwich instead. But today I can’t do that. Read more to find out…

Lima Beans (who doesn’t simply tolerate them?)
